HGBF 1/144 Denial Gundam Review

Finally... The Gundam I always waited since April. Denial Gundam, the master of ALL martial arts except Silat. I'll write a review about this one, ruining the second part for Build Burning's review. It has a rather intimidating look on it's face than any other Gundams, even The End itself.

Gimmicks&Articulation

Arms&Elbow

Nuff said... It has great articulations for the shoulder, arms, and elbow, just as expected of a hand-to-hand close combat MS.

Swivel Gimmick

Albeit won't swivel as far as Build Burning and/or Try Burning, it's still implemented with the actual shoulder's short swiveling range.

Legs

Despite it's side skirts' size, it can still do a perfect split, because......

The Side Skirts (Gimmick)

As you can see, Denial Gundam's side skirts are NOT located at it's waist, but it's at the sides of each upper legs, and each skirts are movable as well, thus increasing articulation (and kicking attack range). That loincloth-like front skirt can swivel up as well around 90 degrees.

Effect parts

You get way more overwhelming and glittering flame effects. The purple color's better than Build Burning's flame effects and there's an extra for it's hairs; one widespread hair and one long, suspended hair like Chinese people for whipping attacks and execute Houou Haoh-Ken. Denial's Burning Burst looks way more fearsome by that wing-like flames and hair. Also includes the short beam swords and Build Burning's ring of fire.

Note: I carelessly scattered some fire trail effects, so the number of them shown in the picture's not really all of them.

Hand Parts

Same as Build/Try Burning, you get the closed hands for puncing, open closed palms, open palms with spread fingers, and other hands for holding weapons.

Action

So far, I'm impressed with what the Denial can do, and the crazy attacks Junya pulled out when he battles Sekai's Try Burning. From kenpo to boxing, then from Bai Quan to beam sword attacks.

Well... I think that's it for now, I haven't posted a single page these days. If I got some, I'll also review Gundam The End and Gundam Tryon 3. Because I don't have a Try Burning, so let's give Junya a more tougher opponent... the Meijin himself!!
